Our Programs
Our thoughtfully designed programs nurture the whole child through every stage of early development. Rooted in play-based learning, each program helps to build independence, spark creativity, grow social-emotional skills, and get ready for school—all in a fun and supportive environment.

Nursery (Age 2)
Our Nursery program offers a gentle introduction to the world of school. For many little ones, it’s their first time away from home so we focus on making the transition feel safe and exciting. We prioritize social-emotional growth to help children feel secure, make friends, and build confidence as they learn to share, take turns, and follow routines.
Each day includes a mix of play-based learning and structured activities for early development. These include:
-
Circle Time & Music to build language, rhythm, and social skills
-
Free Choice Play for exploration and self-directed learning
-
Art Class to encourage creativity and fine motor development
-
Movement & Dance Class to support coordination, self-expression, and gross motor skills
-
Small Group Time with stories and language-rich activities
-
Hands-on Unit Projects that connect learning to the world around them through sensory exploration
-
Toileting Independence to encourage kids as they take big steps toward using the potty
With a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio and just 12 students per class, each child receives plenty of personalized support. It’s a warm, engaging space where toddlers grow confident, curious, and ready for the road ahead!
Preschool (Ages 3-4)
Building on the foundation laid in Nursery, our Preschool program inspires students to move along a carefully calibrated sequence of exploration and discovery. At this stage, children begin to form deeper social bonds, and our teachers intentionally nurture friendships, collaboration, and empathy.
The curriculum blends play-based learning with age-appropriate structure, encouraging curiosity while introducing early academic and life skills. Through projects, games, group time, and hands-on materials, children explore foundational concepts in literacy, math, science, and problem-solving. Daily activities include:
-
Circle Time to promote language, listening, and group participation
-
Free Choice Play to discover new passions and foster creativity, autonomy, and social interaction
-
Project-Based Learning to spark inquiry and build collaborative skills with thoughtfully designed themes each week
-
Creative Art and Fine Motor Activities that encourage expression and build hand-eye coordination
-
Daily Enrichment Classes such as Spanish, Gymnastics, Amazing Athletes, and Gardening
With a 1:7 teacher-to-child ratio and a class size of 14, our Preschool ensures every child is known, supported, and celebrated. We nurture a love of learning, a strong sense of self, and the social skills essential for success.

Pre-K (Ages 4-5)
Pre-K is the grand finale of the Little School experience and we make it count. This final year is an enriching bridge between early childhood and Kindergarten, where kids are supported and challenged in all the right ways. With small class sizes and a 1:7 ratio, every child gets the personalized attention they need. Our teachers meet each student where they are—shaping the day’s rhythm to support their unique growth. Parents stay closely connected through 1:1 teacher communication, weekly newsletters, and daily photo highlights.
Through weekly themed activities and hands-on learning, children explore early literacy, math, science, and problem-solving skills. We celebrate cultural diversity by introducing kids to traditions from around the world through art, music, dramatic play, and sensory experiences. These activities help broaden perspectives while nurturing respect and appreciation for others. These include:
-
Zoophonics to build alphabet knowledge and early reading foundations
-
Cultural Exploration to introduce students to new countries and traditions
-
Weekly STEAM Projects to spark curiosity in science, technology, engineering, art, and math
-
Hiking and Nature Play to promote movement and a connection to nature
-
Cooking and Gardening to teach responsibility, patience, and curiosity about life sciences
-
Creative Arts and Expression to encourage individuality and confidence
-
Amazing Athletes and Yoga for mindfulness, balance, and body awareness
By the end of Pre-K, our Little Schoolers graduate as confident, curious learners who are socially savvy, emotionally resilient, and academically ready to shine!
