Our Programs
Our thoughtfully designed programs nurture the whole child at every stage of early development. Rooted in play, they inspire independence, spark creativity, strengthen social-emotional skills, and prepare children for school.

Nursery (Age 2)
Our Nursery program offers a gentle introduction to the world of school. For many little ones, it’s their first time away from home so we focus on making the transition feel safe and exciting. We prioritize social-emotional growth to help children feel secure, make friends, and build confidence as they learn to share, take turns, and follow routines.
Each day includes a mix of play-based learning and structured activities for early development. These include:
-
Circle Time & Music to build language, rhythm, and social skills
-
Free Choice Play for exploration and self-directed learning
-
Art Class to encourage creativity and fine motor development
-
Movement & Dance Class to support coordination, self-expression, and gross motor skills
-
Small Group Time with stories and language-rich activities
-
Hands-on Unit Projects that connect learning to the world around them through sensory exploration
-
Toileting Independence to encourage kids as they take big steps toward using the potty
With a 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio and just 12 students per class, each child receives plenty of personalized support. It’s a warm, engaging space where toddlers grow confident, curious, and ready for the road ahead!
Preschool (Ages 3-4)
Building on the foundation laid in Nursery, our Preschool program inspires students to move along a carefully calibrated sequence of exploration and discovery. At this stage, children begin to form deeper social bonds, and our teachers intentionally nurture friendships, collaboration, and empathy.
The curriculum blends play-based learning with age-appropriate structure, encouraging curiosity while introducing early academic and life skills. Through projects, games, group time, and hands-on materials, children explore foundational concepts in literacy, math, science, and problem-solving. Daily activities include:
-
Circle Time to promote language, listening, and group participation
-
Free Choice Play to discover new passions and foster creativity, autonomy, and social interaction
-
Project-Based Learning to spark inquiry and build collaborative skills with thoughtfully designed themes each week
-
Creative Art and Fine Motor Activities that encourage expression and build hand-eye coordination
-
Daily Enrichment Classes such as Spanish, Gymnastics, Amazing Athletes, and Gardening
With a 1:7 teacher-to-child ratio and a class size of 14, our Preschool ensures every child is known, supported, and celebrated. We nurture a love of learning, a strong sense of self, and the social skills essential for success.

Pre-K (Ages 4-5)
Pre-K is the grand finale of Little School and we make it count.
This final year is a joyful, enriching bridge between early childhood and Kindergarten, where children are both supported and thoughtfully challenged. With small class sizes and a 1:7 teacher-to-student ratio, every child receives the individualized attention they deserve.
Our experienced teachers meet each student exactly where they are, shaping the rhythm of each day to nurture confidence, curiosity, and growth. Families stay closely connected through one-on-one teacher communication, detailed weekly newsletters, and daily photo highlights that bring learning to life.
Through weekly themes and hands-on exploration, children dive into early literacy, math, science, and problem-solving in ways that feel playful and meaningful. We also celebrate cultural diversity, introducing students to traditions from around the world through art, music, dramatic play, and sensory-rich experiences that foster empathy, respect, and global awareness. Pre-K experience include:
-
Zoophonics to build strong alphabet knowledge and early reading readiness
-
Cultural Exploration that introduces children to new countries, traditions, and ways of life
-
Weekly STEAM Projects to spark curiosity and foundational skills in science, technology, engineering, art, and math
-
Hiking & Nature Play to encourage movement, resilience, and a deep connection to the outdoors
-
Cooking & Gardening to explore cultures while learning responsibility, patience, and environmental awareness
-
Creative Arts & Expression to nurture individuality, confidence, and imagination
-
Amazing Athletes & Yoga to support mindfulness, balance, coordination, and body awareness
By the end of Pre-K, our Little Schoolers graduate as confident, curious learners who are socially savvy, emotionally resilient, and academically ready to shine as they take their next big step into Kindergarten.
