The Little School is a private nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the growth and well being of young children. The school was established in 1980 to serve families in Southern Marin.

The purpose of The Little School is to provide your children with a balance of freedom and responsibility by creating an environment that allows them to develop a sense of trust and well being. We strive to help each child learn to express themselves mentally, emotionally, physically and socially.

We maintain an individualized program for each child, while offering a varied curriculum presented in a loving manner. We feel that our task together, as teachers and parents, is to establish a trusting, warm relationship that allows each child to grow and expand naturally.
